Product Launch Engineer – Robotics & Automation

About the role

The Product Launch Engineer will partner with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering and Project Management teams to drive continuous improvement of robotic and automation solutions. Using data analytics, root‑cause analysis and Voice of the Customer, the engineer will identify opportunities, prototype solutions, validate them in lab and field, and coordinate global roll‑outs.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze system performance data to uncover improvement opportunities.
• Lead structured problem‑solving using 8D, DMAIC, RCA and 4M methodologies.
• Develop and test prototypes, conduct lab and field validation, and support rollout across the worldwide robotics network.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders to refine requirements, prioritize projects and ensure a positive customer experience.
• Create and maintain SOPs, runbooks and automation tooling to streamline operations.
• Participate in operational excellence initiatives, mentor newer team members and share knowledge.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or a related technical field.
• Proven experience leading engineering projects and working with cross‑functional teams.
• Strong communication skills to gather requirements, evaluate alternatives and support implementation.
