Project Manager – Manufacturing Software Implementation

About the role

Rockwell Automation is seeking a Project Manager to act as the primary liaison between the company and its customers during the delivery of capital equipment, enterprise software, and system integration projects. The role involves overseeing project schedules, budgets, and deliverables while ensuring customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Manage projects of varying size and complexity using Plex’s implementation methodology.
• Provide guidance and mentoring to Professional Services team members.
• Lead risk identification and mitigation for scope, schedule, and budget.
• Forecast revenue and achieve financial targets for assigned projects.
• Conduct Customer Steering Committee meetings, milestone events, and internal portfolio reviews.
• Collaborate with the PMO to improve tools and processes.
• Ensure projects are staffed, planned, and delivered within budget, timeline, and SOW.
• Manage change requests and secure approvals for out‑of‑scope activities.
• Demonstrate proficiency in Plex Manufacturing Cloud core modules and stay current with product releases.
• Identify opportunities for additional professional services and support new‑logo sales.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
• Citizenship of an EU member state.
• Valid driving licence.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% to customer locations.
• 5+ years of relevant software or project‑management experience.
