Quality Specialist – Sant'Angelo dei Lombardi Plant

About the role

We are seeking a Quality Specialist for our Sant'Angelo dei Lombardi (AV) plant. You will ensure that all products meet Food Safety and Quality specifications throughout the production process, from raw material receipt to finished‑goods maturation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a shift‑based team to monitor compliance with Food Safety and Quality standards, including CCPs, oPRPs and CPs.
• Conduct self‑checks, record data, and maintain Food Safety & Quality control instructions.
• Coordinate traceability activities to track non‑conforming products back to raw materials and packaging.
• Perform extraordinary finished‑goods sampling, periodic audits, and apply Military Standards where required.
• Provide training and ongoing support to production workers on Food Safety and Quality procedures.
• Manage consumer complaints, lead internal investigations, and develop RCA and CAPA plans.
• Organise and lead the internal organoleptic panel for tasting sessions of finished, semi‑finished products and raw materials.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Food Technology, Biology, Biotechnology or Chemical Engineering.
• Fluent in English and Italian with strong communication skills.
• Team‑oriented, flexible and able to work under pressure.
• Willingness for international mobility is an asset.
• Previous experience in a Food Safety or Quality function.
