Regional Health Manager (Occupational Health Coordinator)

About the role

The Regional Health Manager will be based in Milan and will lead Amazon’s Occupational Health services across Italy, ensuring compliance with local regulations and alignment with global standards.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction and manage Occupational Health services throughout Italy.
• Act as the subject‑matter expert, advising internal stakeholders and liaising with local authorities and occupational health bodies.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of legislative changes and ensure compliance with Amazon policies and Italian health, safety, and medical regulations.
• Define, monitor and report health‑related metrics to the Workplace Health & Safety and Global Medical & Health leadership.
• Identify, assess and mitigate physical and psycho‑social workplace health risks, developing preventive programs.
• Oversee the design and delivery of injury and illness prevention initiatives, including ergonomics and industrial hygiene measures.

Required profile

• Medical degree with specialization in Occupational Health.
• Italy‑registered healthcare professional with a focus on occupational medicine.
• Clinical experience and thorough knowledge of Italian occupational health legislation.
• Proven experience leading Occupational Health services and prevention programs.
• Ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams and external health authorities.
