Regulatory Counsel – Credit Products

About the role

Revolut is seeking a Regulatory Counsel to support its credit products across payments and banking. You will work closely with business teams to ensure new and existing credit offerings comply with Italian financial regulations while enabling rapid growth.

Key responsibilities

• Advise the business on compliance and legal issues related to structuring credit products.
• Draft and review customer‑facing legal documentation for credit services.
• Help design and expand credit features, managing regulatory expectations, applications and approvals.
• Lead cross‑functional initiatives while also handling executional tasks.
• Manage complex legal matters with tight deadlines.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years post‑qualification experience (PQE) in a law firm or in‑house legal team.
• Strong academic background and reputable law firm credentials.
• Demonstrated experience advising on financial regulations in Italy.
• Deep knowledge of the Consumer Credit Directive, debt‑recovery procedures, and supervisory requirements.
• Sound judgement, composure under pressure and a collaborative mindset.
• Ability to make decisions amid ambiguity and communicate effectively with stakeholders.

Required skills

• Expertise in the Consumer Credit Directive (CCD) and related Italian regulations.
• Proficiency in drafting legal documents for credit products.
• Stakeholder management and communication skills.
