Senior Accountant – Milan

About the role

KPMG Fides Servizi di Amministrazione is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its Milan office. You will work with leading Italian and international clients, supporting them through the digital transformation of accounting and administrative services.

Key responsibilities

• Perform ordinary and cost accounting in accordance with Italian GAAP and IFRS.
• Provide outsourced accounting and administrative assistance to clients.
• Prepare tax returns, calculate taxes and ensure statutory compliance.
• Lead administrative and business process re‑engineering initiatives.
• Manage projects for the design and implementation of IT and management systems.
• Define functional specifications and design financial reporting models and tools.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Business, Finance or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in administration, finance or control.
• Strong knowledge of Italian financial reporting standards and IFRS.
• Proficiency in general ledger and cost accounting techniques.
• Experience with tax compliance and preparation of tax filings.
• Fluent English, preferably with international study or work experience.
