Senior Controller

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Controller to lead budgeting, forecasting and management reporting for our high‑voltage power transmission business. You will act as a strategic partner to operational functions, ensuring financial data is accurate, actionable and aligned with our sustainability goals.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end budgeting, forecasting and reporting for assigned areas, covering P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, KPIs and variance analysis.
• Coordinate financial data with Operations, Sales, HR and Procurement, challenging assumptions and ensuring consistency.
• Prepare analyses and presentation material for operational and management meetings.
• Provide decision‑support to function managers, identifying margin, cost, productivity and working‑capital improvement opportunities.
• Support controlling governance, defining standards, templates, timelines and data‑quality rules.
• Drive reporting automation and BI dashboard development (e.g., Power BI) to improve efficiency and usability.
• Define and maintain data models and flows from ERP systems, performing data‑quality checks and reconciliations.

Required profile

• 6–10 years of controlling experience in an industrial or consulting environment.
• Strong knowledge of management accounting, including P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, driver analysis and scenario modelling.
• Experience working with ERP systems, preferably SAP, and handling month‑end closing activities.
• Advanced Excel skills and proven financial‑modelling capabilities.
• Hands‑on experience with BI and automation tools such as Power BI and Power Query.
• Ability to translate complex financial data into clear, actionable recommendations for both finance and non‑finance stakeholders.
