Senior Proposal & Estimating Manager – EPC Projects

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Proposal & Estimating Manager to lead the full bidding cycle for complex international EPC projects. Reporting to the Commercial Director, you will coordinate all proposal and estimating activities from the initial tender evaluation through contract award and hand‑over to the project team.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse Invitations to Bid and related technical and contractual documents, assess requirements, risks and opportunities, and define the bid strategy.
• Define and approve the proposal budget, organise the bid team and manage Bid/No‑Bid decision milestones.
• Plan, coordinate and monitor proposal and estimating tasks, ensuring compliance with schedules, quality standards and corporate procedures.
• Supervise cost‑estimate preparation, ensuring consistency of activities, materials, labour, subcontracting and services, with proper contingency management and data traceability.
• Coordinate engineering, procurement, construction, AFC, contract, legal and risk functions to integrate technical, economic and contractual aspects.
• Present proposal and cost/revenue summaries to senior management and lead price review meetings.
• Conduct technical, commercial and contractual negotiations with clients, partners and subcontractors.
• Ensure complete and compliant submission of all proposal documentation.
• After award, prepare the hand‑over package and lead the transition meeting with the operational team.

Required profile

• University degree in Engineering or a comparable technical discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in proposal, estimating or bid management for large‑scale EPC projects.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage complex bidding processes.
