Software Engineer

About the role

Warp is building an agentic development platform that combines a modern terminal, AI agents and cloud orchestration. As a Software Engineer you will join a fast‑growing team to shape the next generation of developer tools used by hundreds of thousands of engineers worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, review and test code across the full stack of Warp’s products (the Warp environment and the Oz orchestration platform).
• Write unit and integration tests, fix bugs and maintain clear documentation for APIs and features.
• Collaborate with product, growth and marketing teams to define requirements and deliver high‑quality features that improve developer productivity.
• Optimize performance and reliability of existing components and prototype new ideas based on user feedback.
• Mentor junior engineers, provide constructive code reviews and foster strong team relationships.

• Strong passion for building tools that help developers ship software faster.
• Proven software engineering ability with experience delivering production‑grade features.
• Enjoy working in a cross‑functional environment and iterating quickly based on feedback.
