About the role
The Service Desk Technician provides first‑line IT support within the NATO Support and Procurement Agency, handling user incidents, maintaining equipment, and ensuring smooth operation of IT services.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver help‑desk support to end‑users, logging and resolving tickets through a ticketing/incident management system.
- Perform maintenance and supply procedures for hardware and software assets.
- Prepare and update technical, administrative and business documentation, including Technical Data publications.
- Participate in shift work, deployments and duty travel as required for NAGSF‑approved missions.
Required profile
- Complete secondary education plus at least two years of additional IT‑oriented formal education.
- Five to seven years of experience in a help‑desk environment, typically as a Junior Technician.
- Ability to work independently, under stress and tight deadlines.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of end‑user information systems and proficiency with personal computers and software packages.
