District Manager, Italy & Southern Europe

About the role

The District Manager for Alo’s Italy and Southern Europe region will lead, manage and continuously develop all aspects of the business across multiple stores. This senior retail leadership position is responsible for employee relations, operations, inventory compliance, client retention, sales, service, budgeting and profitability, ensuring each studio delivers the brand’s mindful-movement experience.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute regional retail strategies that enhance customer experience, increase brand awareness and drive foot‑traffic.
• Set financial goals, manage store budgets and work closely with headquarters to achieve profitability targets.
• Lead and mentor store leadership teams, establishing standards for operations, merchandising and service.
• Monitor and evaluate performance using key metrics such as conversion rate, average sales and units per transaction.
• Identify and act on opportunities in product assortment, sales initiatives and team development.
• Create and implement a multi‑store business plan that aligns with Alo’s studio-to-street philosophy.
• Network with local communities, train staff on client‑relationship building and uphold Alo’s sales and service guidelines.

Required profile

• Proven business leadership experience in retail or hospitality environments.
• Deep knowledge of the local market, competitors and emerging business trends.
• Ability to make data‑driven recommendations that increase sales and customer loyalty.
• Strong communication and coaching skills to motivate and develop store teams.
• Track record of setting clear objectives, evaluating performance and driving continuous improvement.
