Financial Controller – EU Regional Office (Milan)

About the role

We are looking for a Financial Controller to join our EU Regional office in Milan. The role will ensure accurate accounting, statutory compliance and support the finance team in driving business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and coordinate statutory filings related to tax, audit and accounting, ensuring local compliance.
• Manage daily accounting operations, monthly closing and reconciliations for the EU region.
• Oversee balance‑sheet items reconciliation, including VAT, bank accounts and payroll.
• Serve as the primary contact for internal and external stakeholders within the EU Finance department.
• Update, optimise and maintain administrative‑financial processes and procedures in line with internal controls.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of full‑set accounting experience, preferably with international trading exposure.
• Strong knowledge of tax legislation and general accounting within local financial systems.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
