About the role

We are looking for a Financial Controller to join our EU Regional office in Milan. The role will ensure accurate accounting, statutory compliance and support the finance team in driving business growth.

Key responsibilities

Prepare and coordinate statutory filings related to tax, audit and accounting, ensuring local compliance.
Manage daily accounting operations, monthly closing and reconciliations for the EU region.
Oversee balance‑sheet items reconciliation, including VAT, bank accounts and payroll.
Serve as the primary contact for internal and external stakeholders within the EU Finance department.
Update, optimise and maintain administrative‑financial processes and procedures in line with internal controls.

Required profile

Minimum 5 years of full‑set accounting experience, preferably with international trading exposure.
Strong knowledge of tax legislation and general accounting within local financial systems.
Fluent written and spoken English.
