Hotel Director – Luxury Lifestyle Property

About the role

Our client, a five‑star luxury lifestyle hospitality group headquartered in Rome, is seeking an experienced Hotel Director to lead a 50‑plus‑room property with multiple food & beverage outlets in Cortina. The role is full‑time onsite and focuses on operational excellence, financial performance, and delivering world‑class guest experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee overall operational performance, ensuring seamless coordination across all departments.
• Drive operational excellence and maintain luxury‑level guest experience standards.
• Lead department heads to achieve operational, financial, and service quality targets.
• Monitor and optimise budgeting, forecasting, labour management, cost control and revenue optimisation.
• Implement company standards, policies and procedures consistently.
• Collaborate with commercial teams to maximise revenue opportunities.
• Develop and execute strategies to improve efficiency, guest satisfaction and profitability.
• Maintain strong relationships with guests, owners, stakeholders and external partners.
• Support talent development, employee engagement and succession planning.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, security and local regulations.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of luxury hospitality operations experience, including at least 3 years in a senior operational leadership role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration or related field preferred.
• Proven background in internationally recognised 5‑star hotels, lifestyle resorts or boutique brands.
• Willingness to be based full‑time in Cortina year‑round.
• Fluency in English and Italian; Spanish is a plus.
