Ocean Import Export Operator

About the role

As an Ocean Import Export Operator you will manage and coordinate international ocean shipments, ensuring timely and compliant execution while supporting CEVA Logistics’ commitment to operational excellence and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Shipment management: collect and verify order and shipment information, plan routing and optimise operational execution.
• Documentation: prepare and manage invoices, packing lists, transport documents and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Monitoring: track shipments, update the transport management system and communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Invoicing: validate documentation, manage internal and external invoicing and dispatch invoices to customers.
• Reporting: produce operational reports and provide feedback to the manager to maintain quality and standards.
• Coordination: collaborate with the team to resolve operational issues and ensure adherence to company procedures, safety standards and legal requirements.

Required profile

• Minimum one year of proven experience in a similar logistics or transportation role.
• Strong knowledge of international shipping processes and related documentation.
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment and meet deadlines.
• Excellent organisational, communication and problem‑solving abilities.
• Good command of written and spoken English.

Required skills

• Transport Management System (TMS) usage.
