Deployment Engineer – Robotics Delivery & Packaging Innovation

About the role

Amazon is looking for a business‑oriented Deployment Engineer to lead first‑time deployments of advanced robotics and automation solutions across its fulfillment network. The role will be based in one of several European hubs and will involve extensive travel to support roll‑outs.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the end‑to‑end deployment lifecycle from planning through go‑live, including Alpha and Beta phases.
• Manage on‑site execution, installation, commissioning and validation of robotics, conveyance and sortation systems.
• Align cross‑functional teams, vendors and site personnel to ensure successful project delivery.
• Transform initial deployment complexity into standardized, scalable procedures and documentation.
• Evaluate and deliver large‑scale automation technologies, collaborating with product, safety, quality and vendor teams.

Required profile

• Extensive experience leading automation deployments from conception to launch.
• Strong technical problem‑solving ability and ownership mindset.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial environment.
• Willingness to travel ~50% across Europe and occasional international trips.
