Regional Sales Director, Strategic (EMEA)

About the role

Docker is seeking a Regional Sales Director, Strategic for the EMEA region to lead sales efforts with our largest and most strategic accounts. This senior position combines strategic planning, team leadership, market analysis, and executive relationship management to drive growth across Docker’s portfolio of developer tools.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic plans to meet sales targets and expand Docker’s customer base in EMEA.
• Lead, motivate, and grow a high‑performing sales team, including recruiting, onboarding, and coaching Account Executives.
• Manage key customer relationships, participate in closing strategic opportunities, and maintain accurate sales forecasts.
• Identify emerging market trends, support AEs in new‑business development, and collaborate with marketing and product teams.
• Establish executive sponsor relationships with strategic customers and partners.
• Lead high‑level negotiations on complex deals and represent Docker at industry events.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience leading multinational sales teams selling to large, complex Fortune 100 enterprises.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets, preferably in a DevSecOps or related technology sector.
• Strong leadership skills, including hiring, training, retention, and performance evaluation.
• Excellent analytical abilities to monitor performance metrics and forecast sales.
