SPMT Operator – International Transport Projects

About the role

As an SPMT Operator you will join Mammoet’s international transport team, operating the world’s largest fleet of Self‑Propelled Modular Transporters to move oversized and heavy cargo across Europe. You will work on high‑profile engineering projects, from offshore platforms to industrial installations, ensuring safe and precise moves.

Key responsibilities

• Operate SPMTs and auxiliary equipment to transport heavy loads safely.
• Load, unload, assemble and disassemble SPMTs according to project specifications.
• Execute load movements in line with detailed project plans.
• Carry out periodic and preventive maintenance on SPMTs.
• Collaborate with an international team and adhere to safety standards.

Required profile

• Completed technical education.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role or related industry.
• Fluent English (spoken and written).
• Valid work permit for living and working in Europe.
• Experience in civil engineering, construction, energy, oil & gas, offshore, ports or mining is a plus.
