Vehicle Architecture & Packaging Team Leader

About the role

Stellantis is seeking an experienced Vehicle Architecture and Packaging Team Leader to drive the architectural coherence of new vehicle programs. The role ensures that top‑hat, silhouette and platform definitions align with styling intent, geometry and technical feasibility while managing packaging and DMU activities.

Key responsibilities

• Define the core technical package and key dimensions for the program.
• Balance trade‑offs among brands, styling, performance and organic constraints.
• Implement international market guidelines and lead concept feasibility studies.
• Organise and lead the geometrical synthesis and ensure timely release of architecture deliverables.
• Communicate synthesis results, KPIs and escalations to senior management.
• Produce technical briefs, Architecture Performance Requirement (APOR/S) documents and New Car Buyer Survey predictions.
• Assess Top Hat or Platform ARCI and generate design and White Book assessment documentation.
• Validate CAD geometrical convergence during the architecture phase.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Vehicle Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline, or at least 10 years of automotive experience in a similar architecture role.
• Proven ability to manage complex stakeholder trade‑offs and deliver high‑quality architectural outputs on schedule.
• Strong understanding of vehicle platforms, top‑hat concepts and industrial feasibility.

Required skills

• CAD (computer‑aided design) for geometrical assessment.
• Digital Mock‑Up (DMU) tools and processes.
