Warehouse & Internal Logistics Specialist

About the role

ABB is looking for a Warehouse/Internal Logistics Specialist to join its Smart Power business at the Frosinone plant. The role will manage inbound and outbound goods, coordinate transport, and ensure accurate warehouse processes.

Key responsibilities

• Manage incoming goods, including quantity control and registration in the ERP system.
• Process outgoing goods: picking based on pick lists, administrative handling, and preparing shipments for dispatch.
• Align and coordinate various transports via transport portals and maintain contact with carriers.
• Update, monitor and analyze warehouse performance indicators, develop action plans using root‑cause analysis, and drive waste reduction.
• Contribute to defining standardized material‑handling flows and document new processes.
• Identify bottlenecks and support the design of optimized, standardized workflows.

Required profile

• Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• Interest or knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Pull systems and Kanban logistics.
• Initial experience or academic exposure to industrial operations, logistics or supply‑chain processes (internships, projects or coursework).
• Motivated problem‑solver with a teamwork orientation and good communication skills.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Basic familiarity with Power BI.
• Experience with ERP systems for inventory registration.
