Real Estate Lawyer – Milan

About the role

DLA Piper is seeking a motivated lawyer to join its Real Estate Investment team in Milan. You will advise national and international investors and developers on all aspects of real estate law, working closely with funds, finance and tax colleagues to deliver integrated solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal advice on acquisitions, developments, disposals, leases, construction and property‑management mandates.
• Assist corporate clients and investment firms with purchase, sale and lease transactions involving commercial real estate.
• Collaborate with funds, finance and tax teams to deliver 360‑degree advice on structuring real‑estate investments.
• Draft and negotiate contracts, leases, joint‑venture agreements and other transactional documents.
• Support clients in identifying and implementing optimal legal structures for their investments.

Required profile

• Graduated with excellent academic marks and admitted to the Italian Bar.
• 2–3 years of post‑qualification experience (PQE) in real‑estate law.
• Solid background in real‑estate transactions and basic corporate matters.
• Strong communication and drafting abilities in both Italian and English.
• Service‑oriented, organized, deadline‑driven with a positive, “can‑do” attitude.

Required skills

• Fluency in Italian and English (written and spoken).
