About the role

AVEVA is seeking a results‑driven Account Manager to accelerate growth in Italy’s engineering and capital‑projects market. You will work in a hybrid setting, engaging senior stakeholders across EPCs, owners, and industrial firms to position AVEVA as a strategic partner throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within existing and prospective customers.
  • Design and execute account strategies focused on net‑new revenue and long‑term expansion.
  • Lead complex, multi‑stakeholder sales cycles using a structured, value‑based approach.
  • Build strong business cases and drive negotiation and closure of software agreements.
  • Establish relationships with senior technical and business leaders, including C‑level executives.
  • Collaborate with Pre‑Sales, Customer Success, and Global Account teams to craft winning solutions.
  • Maintain a robust pipeline and accurate forecasts using the MEDDPICC methodology.

Required profile

  • Proven track record of closing complex enterprise software deals in industrial settings.
  • Deep understanding of engineering, EPC, energy, or process industries.
  • Experience selling with a value‑based methodology rather than relationship‑only.
