Bowling Center Manager

About the role

The Bowling Center Manager oversees the daily operations of a 16‑lane bowling facility at Naval Support Activity in Naples, Italy. The role is responsible for delivering a comprehensive recreation program that serves eligible patrons, including leagues, tournaments, and special events.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise approximately 10 U.S. and foreign‑national employees across equipment repair, retail, lane and shoe rental, customer service, cash handling, and custodial duties.
• Assign work, set priorities, evaluate performance, recommend promotions, pay adjustments, and disciplinary actions.
• Plan, promote, and execute bowling programs, leagues, tournaments, open bowling, and special events in line with CNIC standards.
• Develop, justify, and monitor the annual budget; analyze financial statements and manage profit‑and‑loss accountability.
• Maintain inventory of bowling machines, parts, and snack‑bar items; schedule preventative maintenance and annual lane certification.
• Coordinate repairs and maintenance with in‑house assets, MWR facilities, or NSA Public Works as needed.

Required profile

• Ability to successfully complete background checks, including fingerprint and National Agency Check.
• Proven supervisory experience in a recreation or hospitality environment.
• Strong organizational and budgeting skills.
