About the role
We are seeking a Business Development Manager to lead the growth of flavour solutions across Italy. Reporting to the commercial team, you will manage existing food and beverage accounts while identifying new opportunities in the ingredient market.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and expand a portfolio of food and beverage customers throughout Italy.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities with both emerging and established manufacturers.
- Collaborate with applications and R&D teams to support customer briefs, product trials, and commercialisation.
- Lead pricing discussions, account planning, and commercial negotiations.
- Maintain accurate forecasting, pipeline reporting, and market intelligence.
- Represent the business at customer meetings, trade shows, and regional industry events.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Food Science, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 4 years of sales or account‑management experience within the ingredient industry.
- Proven ability to manage key accounts and drive incremental growth.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and customer‑facing skills.
