Commis de Rang – Food & Beverage Service

About the role

The Commis de Rang will provide attentive food and beverage service to guests at our resort in Poltu Quatu. You will ensure each dining experience meets Marriott’s high standards of quality, hospitality, and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Serve food courses and alcoholic beverages to guests.
• Set tables according to event type and service standards.
• Answer menu questions, communicate special dietary needs, and coordinate with the kitchen.
• Record orders in the MICROS POS system and present accurate checks.
• Check guest satisfaction throughout the service and address any issues.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas, china, glassware, and complete closing duties.
• Follow all company safety, security, and uniform policies.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• At least 1 year of food‑and‑beverage service experience.
• Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 25 lb unaided and up to 50 lb with assistance.
• Capability to read small print and follow detailed instructions.
• No supervisory experience required.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the MICROS POS system.
