Conversational AI Application Developer (English and Spanish speaker)

About the role

We are looking for a Conversational AI Application Developer to join our Solution Delivery team. The role is fully remote and open to candidates in any EU country. You will work with Omilia's Cloud Platform to design and build production‑grade voice and chat AI solutions for enterprise customers.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with customers to gather and analyse business requirements.
• Design conversational applications that combine deterministic rule‑based logic with AI‑driven capabilities.
• Prepare, augment, and annotate datasets for machine‑learning and agentic training.
• Develop and test semantic models, conversation flows, and RAG knowledge bases.
• Write application logic in JavaScript and integrate solutions via REST web services.
• Perform test‑driven development, unit and regression testing.
• Analyse real‑world dialogs using Omilia Conversational Insights to identify improvement opportunities.
• Provide technical support and consultation to partners and customers during day‑2 operations.

Required profile

• Academic degree in Computer Science, Computational Linguistics, Natural Language Processing or related field.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.
• Strong communication skills and customer‑facing experience.
• Problem‑solving mindset with an eagerness to learn.
• Interest in Generative AI concepts such as LLMs, prompt engineering and Retrieval‑Augmented Generation.
