About the role

International SOS is seeking a Coordinating Nurse to provide expert medical guidance and case coordination for travelers facing health issues abroad. Based in Milan, you will work on staggered shifts, supporting a global network that safeguards the wellbeing of clients worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Assess medical calls from travelers, gather clinical details, and deliver clear, professional advice.
• Coordinate treatment, transport, and follow‑up care with global assistance centres, treating physicians, and claims teams.
• Ensure decisions are safe, cost‑effective, and aligned with duty‑of‑care policies.
• Maintain accurate case records and communicate updates to patients and clients.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse with experience in acute, emergency or intensive care.
• Strong clinical judgment and excellent communication abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, international environment.
• Willingness to travel for business as needed.

Required skills

• Fluency in written and spoken Italian, French and English.
