Customer Analyst Internship

About the role

Join Barilla’s Customer Team and discover how data drives commercial decisions in a leading FMCG company. You will work side‑by‑side with Sales, Trade Marketing and Sales Strategy Technology teams, turning raw market and customer data into actionable insights.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, monitor and analyse internal and external market and customer data.
• Support the creation and maintenance of customer dashboards using Power BI and Nielsen/Circana tools.
• Develop standardized, scalable reporting tools for multiple customer teams.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders to ensure data consistency and quality.
• Prepare reports, analyses and presentations for internal and customer discussions.
• Assist the team in daily business activities and transform data into clear, impactful presentations.

Required profile

• 2nd‑year Master’s student or recent graduate in Mathematics, Engineering, Business Management or Data Analytics.
• Fluent in English and Italian, both written and spoken.
• Passion for data, numbers and analysis with a strong analytical mindset.
• Team player able to work across functions and communicate insights clearly.
• Curious, proactive and comfortable with problem‑solving.
