Customer Analyst Internship

About the role

Join Barilla’s Customer Team and discover how data drives commercial decisions in a leading FMCG company. You will work closely with Sales, Trade Marketing and Sales Strategy Technology teams, gaining hands‑on experience with real‑world business data.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, monitor and analyse internal and external market and customer data.
• Support the creation and maintenance of customer dashboards using Power BI and Nielsen/Circana tools.
• Contribute to building standardized, scalable reporting tools for multiple customer teams.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders to ensure data consistency and quality.
• Prepare reports, analyses and presentations for internal and customer discussions.
• Transform raw data into clear, structured, and impactful presentations.
• Assist the team with daily business activities and ad‑hoc analytical tasks.

Required profile

• 2nd‑year Master’s student or recent graduate in Mathematics, Engineering, Business Management or Data Analytics.
• Fluent in English and Italian, both written and spoken.
• Study or work experience abroad is a plus.
• Strong passion for data, numbers and analysis.
• Analytical mindset, proactive attitude and ability to work in a team.
• Excellent communication skills to explain insights clearly.
