About the role
Join Applied Materials as an IT Service Specialist supporting Global Information Services (GIS) customers. You will work under supervision to deliver reliable IT services, maintain service levels, and contribute to continuous improvement of the service lifecycle.
Key responsibilities
- Provide support services for specific IT services, adhering to service management processes and SLAs.
- Execute updates such as patching, point releases, and major upgrades following change and release management policies.
- Configure IT technology and perform basic changes while following standard operating procedures.
- Draft technical and end‑user documentation for the services you support.
- Monitor service availability and performance, report anomalies, and conduct root‑cause analysis of outages.
Required profile
- Demonstrates conceptual knowledge of theories, practices and procedures within the IT discipline.
- Applies general business knowledge gained through education or past experience.
