Customer Support Specialist - AI Expert

About the role

ABB's Customer Support team in Dalmine is looking for an AI Expert who contributes to the adoption of digital tools and supports the full lifecycle of customer orders, from entry into the systems to ongoing coordination and assistance. The position reports to the Sales Support Manager and follows a hybrid work model.

Key responsibilities

• Help identify and adopt digital solutions that support team activities and process evolution.
• Explore AI-based tools and automation to support order entry steps, from data collection to document or information handling.
• Resolve customer requests by coordinating with internal teams.
• Manage end-to-end order handling, such as scheduling, invoicing and transportation.
• Keep customers proactively informed and help clarify their requests.
• Lead initiatives to improve the overall customer experience, ensuring responsiveness, clarity and reliability.

Required profile

• Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Management Engineering, Economics, Data Analytics or a related field.
• Passion for digital tools and customer support processes.
• Comfortable communicating in both Italian and English.
• Team player with good communication skills, ownership, a problem-solving mindset and a proactive approach.

Required skills

• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Familiarity with data analysis and visualization tools such as Power BI.
• Interest in Microsoft digital platforms such as Power Apps, Power Automate, SharePoint and AI-based tools including Microsoft Copilot.
