Internship – Order Handling Specialist

About the role

This internship is an Order Handling Specialist position within ABB's Robotics business, which is preparing for its acquisition by SoftBank Group. The role supports internal and external customers with order and payment-related assistance, coordinates with stakeholders to own cases and improve customer satisfaction, and manages customer master data. The position reports to the Order Handling Specialist and follows a hybrid work model.

Key responsibilities

• Verify orders received from customers, check order confirmations from factories and communicate with them about possible requests.
• Create and manage sales orders.
• Manage customer master data through the internal portal, ensuring accuracy, consistency and timely updates.
• Monitor order status, manage and verify deliveries and follow up on delays.
• Resolve inquiries, assist with escalations and ensure a positive customer experience.

Required profile

• Degree in Economics or Foreign Languages.
• Good knowledge of English and Italian.
• Collaborative, proactive and solution-focused approach, with good written and spoken communication skills.

Required skills

• Knowledge of the Office suite is a plus.
• Knowledge of SAP is a plus.
