Cybersecurity Governance Intern

About the role

This internship offers the opportunity to join Saipem’s Cybersecurity Governance (CYGO) team, focusing on third‑party and supplier cybersecurity activities. You will support the Third‑Party Risk Management (TPRM) process and contribute to audit, reporting, and awareness initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and support the TPRM process, ensuring tools and procedures run efficiently.
• Monitor outcomes of third‑party cybersecurity risk assessments and track follow‑up actions.
• Assist in supplier audit activities, including preparation, evidence review, and follow‑up.
• Review Data Processing Agreements, General and Special Terms and Conditions from a cybersecurity perspective during supplier negotiations.
• Contribute to cybersecurity awareness initiatives, such as selecting topics for the internal newsletter and defining scenarios for phishing simulations.

Required profile

• Master’s or bachelor’s degree in Management, Computer Engineering, Technical Diploma or related field, with a focus on cybersecurity.
• Italian native or C1 proficiency; English at least B2 (written and spoken).
• Strong analytical ability to review documentation and contractual clauses.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, teamwork, proactivity and problem‑solving skills.

Required skills

• Knowledge of ISO/IEC 27001 cybersecurity standard.
