Data Engineer

About the role

Precis is looking for a Data Engineer to join its Marketing Science team. You will help design and optimise data pipelines that enable the processing and analysis of marketing data for clients and internal services.

Key responsibilities

• Design and optimise data pipelines to support the processing and analysis of marketing data.
• Implement data engineering solutions within Precis Marketing Science services and client environments, adhering to project objectives and guidelines.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of data engineering capabilities and internal processes.
• Apply best practices to ensure reliability, efficiency, and quality of services.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and clients to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Build strong stakeholder relationships and proactively address project issues.
• Help define documentation standards and contribute to team documentation.

Required profile

• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and ETL/ELT techniques.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform or similar cloud environments.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to meet project timelines and deliver successful outcomes.
• Excellent communication skills in English, able to explain technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
• Proactive mindset with a focus on client needs.
• Valid EU work permit.
