Data Scientist & Training Analyst

About the role

Booz Allen is seeking an experienced data engineer to help clients turn massive, diverse data sets into actionable insights. You will work on mission‑driven projects, building and maintaining data pipelines while guiding a multidisciplinary team of analysts, developers, and data consumers.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, operationalize, and maintain enterprise‑scale data applications for reporting and analytics.
• Deploy and manage data pipelines and workflows that integrate structured and unstructured data.
• Collaborate with analysts, engineers, and developers in an agile environment to deliver analytic solutions.
• Create and deliver training materials, documentation, and workshops for data systems and tools.
• Support data‑driven decision‑making for high‑impact missions.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering or application development.
• 3+ years designing and maintaining data applications at enterprise scale.
• 3+ years of experience with Python, SQL, Scala, or R.
• Proven ability to work in cross‑functional teams and develop training content.
• Active Secret clearance and a valid passport (minimum 6‑month validity).
• HS diploma/GED with 8+ years in Data Science, or Associate’s degree with 4+ years in Data Science.
