Deal Advisory M&A Tax Senior Consultant

About the role

KPMG is looking for a Senior Consultant to join its Deal Advisory M&A Tax team in Milan. You will support clients through complex tax challenges linked to mergers, acquisitions, demergers and other extraordinary transactions, operating at the intersection of national and international regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct tax due‑diligence reviews for mergers, acquisitions, demergers and similar transactions.
• Assist in corporate restructuring projects.
• Analyse the tax treatment of extraordinary transactions under Italian accounting standards (OIC) and international standards (IAS/IFRS).
• Prepare national and international tax opinions and applications for tax rulings.
• Draft corporate income tax returns (Modello Unico and Modello IRAP).

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in international law firms, Big Four or advisory firms.
• Master’s degree in Economics (LM‑77/LM‑56) or Law (LMG‑01) with a final grade of at least 100/110.
• Intention to qualify as a Chartered Accountant or Lawyer.
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork abilities.
