Compliance Analytics Associate

About the role

Join a fast‑growing global crypto company as a Compliance Analytics Associate, reporting to the Americas Head of Compliance. You will help design, automate and continuously improve the firm’s AML, CTF, sanctions and financial‑crime framework, with a focus on on‑chain monitoring and travel‑rule compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Use Chainalysis to investigate wallet addresses, transaction flows and exposure to high‑risk entities.
• Define and maintain controls for wallet screening, sanctions exposure, mixer activity, high‑risk jurisdictions and rapid asset movement.
• Support the development and refinement of transaction‑monitoring rules, thresholds and blockchain‑related risk indicators.
• Ensure the travel‑rule program complies with AML regulations by collecting and securely transmitting required sender and receiver data.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Product to design automated workflows, translate compliance requirements into technical specifications and integrate Chainalysis with internal case‑management systems.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in compliance, AML, financial‑crime, KYC or transaction‑monitoring.
• Hands‑on experience with Chainalysis (including KYT) and preferably Notabene.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and the ability to make proportionate, risk‑based decisions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to manage multiple cases and priorities.

• KYC/CDD, EDD and transaction‑monitoring review experience
• AI/LLM tools such as Claude, ChatGPT or Copilot for investigation efficiency
