Demand & Supply Planner

About the role

Rossignol is seeking a Demand & Supply Planner to manage the end‑to‑end planning process for its Softgoods portfolio, including accessories, footwear and bags. Reporting to both the Demand Planning & Process Manager and the Supply Planning Manager, you will ensure that supply aligns with market demand, service‑level targets and inventory goals across the global network.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse seasonal forecasts and translate them into purchasing strategies that meet commercial and financial objectives.
• Deliver seasonal performance analyses, including range efficiency reviews and calendar updates.
• Define and execute supply plans by creating purchase orders based on demand forecasts, inventory levels, supplier capacity and MOQ requirements.
• Monitor supplier performance throughout production and shipment to guarantee on‑time, in‑full deliveries.
• Identify and mitigate potential demand‑supply mismatches by adjusting purchasing schedules as needed.
• Collaborate closely with Sales, Merchandising, Sourcing, Development, Logistics and senior management to ensure alignment.
• Provide analytical support and ad‑hoc reporting to aid decision‑making.

Required profile

• Academic background in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Economics, Supply Chain Management).
• Proven experience in demand and supply planning, preferably within a consumer‑goods or apparel environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret market trends and historical data.
• Excellent communication skills to build partnerships across functions and with external suppliers.
