DevOps / Ansible / OpenShift Engineer

About the role

Kyndryl is hiring a DevOps / Ansible / OpenShift Engineer in Rome. The role covers designing and managing OpenShift and Kubernetes platforms, building automation and CI/CD toolchains, and working closely with clients in a consultative way within cross-functional Agile teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design and manage OpenShift / Kubernetes platforms in enterprise environments
• Develop and maintain automation solutions with Ansible (playbooks, roles)
• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines and toolchains (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, ArgoCD)
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible) and support the application lifecycle
• Troubleshoot, optimize performance and ensure compliance with security and operational standards
• Engage directly with clients, understand their needs and contribute to solution design and workshops
• Work in Agile teams and share knowledge with colleagues

Required profile

• 3-5 years of experience in DevOps, automation or cloud engineering
• Hands-on experience with Ansible and OpenShift/Kubernetes
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent experience
• Relevant certifications (Red Hat, Kubernetes, cloud) are a plus
• Permanent contract (contratto a tempo indeterminato); starting salary of EUR 32,890 for a full-time schedule, adjusted for part-time roles
