About the role
The St. Regis Venice is seeking a senior leader to direct all hotel operations. Reporting to senior management, the Director of Operations will ensure the property delivers the brand’s luxury service standards, drives revenue, and maintains financial performance.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute operational strategies aligned with the brand’s business goals.
- Monitor profitability, analyze guest‑satisfaction data, and implement corrective actions.
- Oversee revenue management, occupancy, rate setting, wage control, and other controllable expenses.
- Lead department heads across Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Engineering, and Recreation to achieve service excellence.
- Review guest feedback, ensure consistent guest experience, and maintain high satisfaction scores.
- Foster positive owner relations and ensure compliance with brand standards.
Required profile
- Either a 2‑year degree in Business Administration, Hotel & Restaurant Management or related field with at least 4 years relevant experience, or a 4‑year bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years relevant experience.
- Proven experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping, sales & marketing, or hotel operations management.
- Strong analytical ability to interpret financial reports and drive performance.
