Director, Strategy & Program Management

About the role

Edwards Lifesciences is seeking a Director of Strategy & Program Management to lead long‑term strategic initiatives across its Transcatheter Heart Valve (THV) European business. Reporting to the Senior Director, Strategy & AI, you will orchestrate multi‑year programs that shape service models, portfolio evolution, and business transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop strategic opportunities, including new service models and value propositions, to meet emerging market needs.
• Design and execute end‑to‑end multi‑year programs, ensuring clear objectives, governance, milestones, and cross‑functional ownership.
• Lead business transformation initiatives that modernize ways of working, enhance customer centricity, and accelerate decision‑making.
• Conduct ad‑hoc strategic analyses to inform leadership decisions, resource allocation, and investment prioritization.
• Drive internal improvement programs to elevate strategic decision quality and data‑driven insights.
• Partner with EU functions such as marketing, commercial, medical, operations, digital, and finance to ensure seamless program execution.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a strategic leader in a complex, cross‑functional environment.
• Strong program management capabilities with a track record of delivering measurable results.
• Excellent judgment, autonomy, and resilience in fast‑paced settings.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% across Europe and occasional trips to the United States.
