Doorman – Luxury Resort in Sardinia

About the role

Join a prestigious resort in Sardinia as a Doorman, providing first‑impression service to guests arriving at the property. You will be the face of the hotel, ensuring a warm welcome and smooth entry for every visitor.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests, escort them to their rooms, and open doors for arrivals and departures.
• Inform guests about hotel amenities, services, operating hours, and local attractions.
• Explain room features such as key usage, mini‑bar, in‑room safe, and laundry services.
• Transport luggage to and from rooms, assist with vehicle loading/unloading, and manage luggage storage.
• Arrange and coordinate transportation (taxi, shuttle, limousine) and communicate parking procedures.
• Maintain a clean, professional appearance and adhere to all company policies and safety standards.
• Assist guests with disabilities, answer telephone calls courteously, and support other front‑of‑house staff as needed.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• No prior experience required; on‑the‑job training provided.
• Ability to perform physical tasks: lift up to 50 lb unaided, lift heavier items with assistance, stand or walk for extended periods, and navigate stairs or uneven surfaces.
• Strong communication skills in clear, professional English.
• Reliability, confidentiality, and a customer‑focused attitude.
