Early Years Teacher – Nursery & Kindergarten

About the role

The school is seeking a dedicated Early Years Teacher to support the lead teacher in delivering a high‑quality preschool curriculum. You will work closely with children aged 2‑5, fostering a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment that promotes learning through play.

Key responsibilities

• Support classroom instruction by assisting the lead teacher with lesson plans, learning activities, and educational games.
• Supervise and engage children during classroom activities, playtime, meals, and outdoor periods to ensure safety and positive behavior.
• Assist with behavior management, reinforcing classroom rules and guiding social‑emotional development.
• Prepare and organize learning materials, resources, and displays to support hands‑on learning.
• Maintain a clean, hazard‑free environment and sanitize toys, surfaces, and equipment.
• Provide individualized support to children who need extra help or emotional assistance.
• Observe children’s development and report concerns or progress to the lead teacher.
• Support daily routines such as arrivals, departures, toileting, meals, and rest time.
• Model respectful, inclusive behavior to promote a positive classroom culture.
• Collaborate with the lead teacher and other staff to ensure consistent teaching practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or equivalent (required).
• TKT Training Course certification.
• Prior experience working with young children in an educational or care setting (preferred).
