Primary Teacher

About the role

The Primary Teacher will plan, deliver and assess high‑quality learning experiences for primary‑school students, supporting their academic, social, emotional and personal development in a safe and inclusive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and oversee the Primary academic programme, ensuring effective curriculum delivery and innovative, student‑centred teaching.
• Coordinate, mentor and evaluate the Primary teaching team, identify professional development needs and lead pedagogical meetings.
• Monitor students’ academic, social and emotional progress, implement support strategies and manage behaviour and wellbeing initiatives.
• Maintain timely communication with parents, participate in meetings and address concerns or significant situations.
• Prepare academic and performance reports, coordinate timetables, assessments and school activities, and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Primary Education or a related field with a valid teaching certification.
• Minimum of X years teaching experience in Primary Education; experience in bilingual or international schools is an advantage.
• Strong classroom management, instructional and assessment skills, with knowledge of child development and age‑appropriate methodologies.
• Effective communication, interpersonal and organisational abilities, and the capacity to differentiate instruction for diverse learners.
• Collaborative mindset, commitment to continuous professional development and a student‑centred approach.
