Electrical Construction Manager – Expat Role in Zurich

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Construction Manager to join a leading main contractor on a large‑scale data centre project in Zurich. This permanent, expatriate position offers long‑term stability and the chance to work on high‑visibility infrastructure within a well‑structured delivery environment.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with project management to meet EHS, QA/QC, schedule and commercial KPIs.
• Align supply‑chain partners with project expectations and ensure compliance with RAMS and SPA requirements.
• Participate daily in Whiteboard, DABS, collaborative planning and Last Planner meetings.
• Oversee construction power installation, maintenance and usage on site.
• Monitor partner resource levels, report shortfalls and drive corrective actions.
• Provide weekly progress updates and forecasts to the site planning team.
• Support the Electrical Project Manager in implementing the “Bringing Quality 2 Life” initiative.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in electrical/mechanical construction.
• Proven track record of coordinating and managing large‑scale projects.
• Strong construction background with an understanding of EHS and QA/QC processes.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
