Electricity & Automation Project Leader – Portogruaro Plant

About the role

Join Nestlé Purina’s Portogruaro plant as an Electricity & Automation Project Leader. You will be responsible for MES‑E&A management, supporting manufacturing execution systems, and leading capital‑investment projects while ensuring safety, quality and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain engineering competence for MES‑E&A personnel, including competency assessments and training plans.
• Lead CAPEX projects: prepare user and technical specifications, coordinate production and quality requirements, oversee solution development, testing, implementation and training.
• Manage existing assets to guarantee process and equipment safety, and support site‑level engineering tools and maintenance activities.
• Ensure all installations comply with corporate and market safety, health, environmental and quality standards, keeping documentation up‑to‑date.
• Drive continuous improvement by mastering process and product characteristics and promoting efficiency, safety and quality.

Required profile

• Minimum 3‑5 years of experience in automation and/or MES engineering with an electrical background.
• Proven experience supervising technical teams, contractors or third‑party providers.
• Track record of participating in multidisciplinary engineering projects, preferably across different products and technologies.
• Ability to work autonomously, meet defined KPIs and contribute to TPM or preventive maintenance initiatives.
