Procurement Support Specialist – Portogruaro Plant

About the role

The Procurement Support Specialist will work at Nestlé Purina’s Portogruaro plant, acting as the bridge between local business partners and the global sourcing teams. The role focuses on implementing sourcing strategies, managing P2P processes and supporting supplier development to ensure competitive advantage and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Provide the Local Business Partner with information and requirements gathered from daily business and report regularly.
• Gather and analyse data on ordering (P2P) processes, map channels, and identify improvement opportunities.
• Interface with local suppliers for development or switch‑out activities as directed by category teams.
• Support integration of sourcing plans into local budgets, price planning and innovation initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with Nestlé’s Supplier Code and follow up on audit actions.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement or similar sourcing roles.
• Proven track record of developing and implementing sourcing strategies that deliver competitive advantage.
• Fluency in Italian and English.
• Experience in risk management, responsible sourcing and supplier relationship management.
• Ability to lead projects and work effectively in cross‑functional, cross‑market teams.
