The Elementary School Principal leads an elementary school, overseeing student achievement, instructional quality, and the integration of approved technology. The role requires data‑driven decision‑making, collaboration with staff, and alignment with the Community Strategic Plan.

Key responsibilities

• Use student achievement data and related metrics to shape the school improvement plan, professional development, and programmatic changes.
• Promote student growth and achievement through leadership, support, and collaboration.
• Gather and analyze achievement data to inform school improvement efforts.
• Ensure integration of DoDEA‑approved technology across all curricular areas.
• Provide professional development opportunities that advance teacher growth and school improvement goals.

Required profile

• Proof of U.S. citizenship.
• Completion of a Pre‑Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service (for male applicants born after 12/31/1959).
• Direct deposit for pay.
• Successful background investigation, including Tier 3 (Childcare Checks) and suitability/fitness determination.
• Willingness to sign mobility, transportation, and financial disclosure agreements.
• Ability to meet DoD civilian personnel requirements for overseas assignments, including passport and visa obligations.
