Engineering Manager

About the role

Econergy is looking for an Engineering Manager to lead technical delivery across our utility‑scale renewable energy pipeline. You will support Business Development, M&A, and EPC teams, ensuring projects move smoothly from concept to operation.

Key responsibilities

• Produce preliminary layouts, PVSyst reports, and detailed performance analyses for solar, BESS, and wind projects.
• Provide technical input throughout the project lifecycle, from site assessment to construction monitoring and final acceptance.
• Act as a technical advisor for development, M&A activities, and operational optimisation.
• Manage technical due diligence, coordinating with external advisors and lenders' engineers.
• Review and prepare technical packages, including layouts, single‑line diagrams, specifications, reports, calculations and BoQ.
• Oversee external engineering firms during design and construction phases.
• Conduct technical audits to evaluate asset feasibility and health.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in utility‑scale system design, permitting and construction.
• Proven track record of delivering technical support with accountability for performance and design optimisation.
• Deep understanding of PV system design, component optimisation and LCOE focus.
• Familiarity with international electrical and structural standards (IEC, CEI) and Tier‑1 manufacturers.
• Good knowledge of utility interconnection processes and grid‑code compliance.
