Executive Maintenance

About the role

The Executive Maintenance professional will lead the development and execution of maintenance strategies to maximise equipment availability and operational performance. This role combines hands‑on technical oversight with people management to ensure a safe, efficient, and compliant production environment.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement best‑practice maintenance vision, policies, processes and procedures.
• Delegate maintenance issues and small projects to the appropriate team members each shift.
• Develop and maintain a Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedule, ensuring all preventive tasks are completed.
• Audit engineering data systems for compliance and accuracy.
• Schedule internal and external work to minimise unplanned downtime.
• Manage machine availability and coordinate reactive repairs with shift management.
• Optimize equipment performance to meet KPIs and product quality standards.
• Oversee calibration and maintenance of electro‑mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Control maintenance material spend and develop expenditure strategies.
• Produce reports, presentations and conduct root‑cause analyses.
• Conduct risk assessments and ensure health, safety and environmental compliance.
• Lead, coach and develop a high‑performing maintenance team, setting objectives and reviewing performance.

Required profile

• B.Tech/B.E. in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 2‑3 years of experience in industrial maintenance or a related field.
• Demonstrated leadership and people‑management capabilities.
